The Horse & Jockey at Waddington is a traditional English village pub, parts of which date back to the fifteenth century and is set in the heart of rural Lincolnshire and yet is still only a 15 minute drive from the centre of the historic city of Lincoln. The Horse and Jockey is run by Dave and Sue; where a warm welcome always awaits you.
We make dining at The Horse & Jockey a great experience and have a mouth-watering ‘racings’ themed menu for you to choose from. We offer a selection of locally sourced food for you to enjoy along with our Chefs’s daily specials (you will have to try his homemade cheesecake). Lunch is served Monday to Thursday 12.00 noon to 2.00pm and until 2.30 Friday and Saturdays. The evening menu is served Monday to Thursday 5.00pm to 9.00pm and until 9.30 Friday and Saturdays.
On a Sunday, we serve a Carvery, featuring a choice of 3 meets and the Chef's acclaimed Steak and Ale pie, between 12.00 noon and 2.30 pm and a traditional 2 or 3 course Sunday dinner with all the trimmings between 4pm and 8pm.
Relax and enjoy our range of excellent cask ales, draught beers and lager, wines available by the bottle and glass, soft drinks, tea and coffee all served in a relaxing, comfortable atmosphere. The Horse & Jockey is the ideal place to unwind and enjoy your favourite tipple with great company.
